"Diamond Etched" in her hunter/jumper tack set won the following classes: Maddie feels she would have placed higher in Other Performance if she had remembered to put her stirrups down, LOL. Don't feel bad Maddie, we all know how much pressure you can be under to get ready for a class on time. It's not that bad a mistake - your scenario could be rider just getting on or just got off, then it would be perfectly correct! You'd be surprised how many people don't even know how to correctly run up their stirrups! Any display of real-horsemanship knowledge should be rewarded, in my opinion. A 4th is still somthing to be proud of! Great job! |
