Flat Art: I am currently accepting commissions. I can work from several different sources such as photos or sketches. The subjects do not have to be in the same poses that you wish them to appear in the finished painting or drawing, they just have to give me enough infomation to extrapolate from. I can combine several different sources into one figure as well, such as this type of animal with this other coat pattern but these other eyes, etc. Same with backgrounds. All source materials you supply me will be returned to you.
I require a small deposit in advance before starting work. The amount of deposit required will be relative to the size and complexity of the work. Some examples would be for an average painting with a single subject on a simple background about 14" x 22" I will ask for only $20.00 in advance. For a black and white drawing, I will ask only $10.00 as a deposit. For a complex painting 18" x 24" on stretched canvas with several subjects on a complex background with hidden imagery I might ask for $50.00 in advance. Full price for paintings ranges from $50 to $400 on average. Drawings range from $15.00 to $30.00 on average. For a B&W paper proof of a preliminary sketch for a painting for approval, there is a $5.00 charge. This covers the cost of mailing it and paper and ink, etc. I can also email you a digital image of the proof for approval at no charge. Photo prints of the painting are $12.50. If a job is cancelled, I will keep the deposit to cover my cost for work done to date (time, paper, proofs, etc.) All your source materials will be returned to you.
Model Horses: I can work from several different sources such as photos or sketches even digital media. The subjects do not have to be in the same poses that you wish them to appear in the finished model, they just have to give me enough infomation to extrapolate from. I can combine several different sources into one figure as well, such as this pose with this other coat pattern but these other eyes, etc. All source material you supply me will be returned to you.

Tack - Custom Saddlery: I am willing to make small changes to any of the example items you see on this site at no extra charge. Some changes may require more materials (such as adding special silver decorations to a western saddle or beads to a bridle) or may require more time to make, such as lace reins, and will cost a little more. I am also willing to copy a real saddle or bridle in miniature, if you are able to supply me with pictures, just e-mail me. Please ask me about current turn-around time. It will depend on how many other orders I have at the time. I usually work pretty fast, and can have items ready to ship in as little as 2 or 3 days up to 2 weeks for most orders. If you are looking for a specific item of tack and you do not see a close example listed on my site, please feel free to inquire if I might make one. (I just may be working on one already!) I am constantly making improvements to my existing tack patterns, and I am always coming up with new ones too. Higher quality, more elaborate tack will cost more, but I like to offer some plainer but still LSQ tack at prices everyone can afford. Please contact me for a quote:
What is LSQ? What is PSQ?
LSQ is an acronym used in the Model Horse Hobby to stand for Live Show Quality. This is an item that can be reasonably expected to do well at a Live model horse show. This is not a guarantee that you will win your class, or be NAN qualified. But you will certainly not be embarassed to put it on the table!
PSQ is an acronym which stands for Photo Show Quality. This is an item that most likely will not win in a live model show. It may have some minor flaw, such as an odd coloration, or it may just be made of slightly less quality materials than an LSQ item. This item should still be usable and it should photograph well and still be able to look realistic in a photo. It should be expected to do reasonably well in a photo show.
Top LSQ is a term that is used to describe an item that is really cutting edge, or spectacular, and top of the line. This is an item that can be reasonably exptectd to win or place at the top of an average live show class. It is still no guarantee that you will win. There is always the chance that someone else will have a slightly more realistic or slightly better looking item. And what was top LSQ 20 years ago may only be PSQ today. These items usually cost more than regular LSQ items, and a lot more than PSQ. If you see a "Top LSQ" item for sale really cheap, be wary.
